You are not what happened to you.

After being assaulted, my world was turned upside down. I felt utterly hopeless and every day felt unbearable. I felt alone in what I was going through. It was all too much to process, and some of my responses and reactions I didn’t understand myself. I felt isolated and alone. Quite frankly, I felt like life was not worth living.

Can you relate at all? If so, I want you to know you to know 3 things:

  1. You are not alone

  2. What happened to you was not your fault

  3. Life is worth living.

I hope this page reaches you well. I hope you find comfort by reading my posts. Most importantly, I hope that you know that healing and recovery is possible.

With love and strength,

Allison Fleming
